Summary

Luviagelita Edelfelt serves as the young and talented head of the distinguished Edelfelt lineage of magi. As a student at the Clock Tower, the Mage's Association academy, she is a candidate for the position of student president for the current academic term. While her public demeanor is graceful, elegant, and swan-like, this is merely a facade; in reality, she is highly competitive and struggles with perfectionist tendencies. She possesses fair orangish-blonde hair and is of Finnish descent. Luvia is an expert in the Gandr shooting curse and is trained in the England-original Lancashire-style of martial combat, which resembles professional wrestling. This combat prowess earned her the nicknames "Hunting Dog of the Ring" and the "Forklift Lady." She also utilizes Jewel Magecraft, similar to Rin Toosaka. Her typical attire is a blue dress with optional sleeves that can be quickly removed for battle. Despite her wealth, Luvia avoids wasteful spending but understands the social necessity of aristocratic generosity. Although she acknowledges the commoners' negative views of nobility, she holds a deep affection for them. While she accepts that her fate is to marry a high-born gentleman, her personal preference leans toward a simpler man. Her rivalry with Rin Toosaka is fierce due to their similarities. After a year of constant clashes, a silent agreement was made within the Clock Tower's Department of Mineralogy that the two must not attend classes together. Luvia’s strict facade had begun to crack under the strain of maintaining it for a decade, causing her bad temper to surface, but Rin’s presence ultimately improved her daily life. A notable conflict arose when both Luvia and Rin attempted to reserve room 28 on the top floor of the Norwich Students Dormitory. The dispute escalated after a recommendation letter from a Lord was torn apart, leading to a physical fight that destroyed the reception desk. Consequently, both were banned from entering the dormitory. Since boarding houses were too small, Luvia purchased a European-style mansion to live in. During the Zelretch box incident in Fate/hollow ataraxia, Luvia received a telephone call from a parallel timeline version of herself three years in the future. The events surrounding this, including the delivery of an important essay, led to her and Rin falling from London Tower. They survived thanks to Shirou Emiya’s intervention and received the nicknames Mary of July (Luvia) and Poppins of July. In the aftermath, she and Shirou, whom she calls Shero, became partners to investigate a cruise ship casino known as Fem's Casa.
