Eri

Summary

Eri is a young girl with long, choppy, and unkempt white hair, red eyes, and a small horn on the right side of her forehead. Her body is covered in bandages that conceal numerous scars on her arms. Having never experienced affection, she was overwhelmed by Izuku’s touch as her first encounter with kindness. When facing murderous intent, she remains silent rather than screaming or crying, accepting pain because she feels she has no other choice. Although she is willing to submit to Chisaki to protect those who help her, she feels guilt when others are harmed in the process of rescuing her. As the granddaughter of the former Capo of the Yakuza group, The Eight Precepts of Death, Eri accidentally used her newly manifested Quirk on her father, causing him to vanish. Because her power differed from her parents', her mother believed she was cursed and abandoned her to her father. Her grandfather placed her in the care of his protege, Kai Chisaki, to test her Quirk under the mistaken assumption that they were similar. In reality, her Quirk is "Rewind," not "Vanish." Chisaki took over the organization and experimented on Eri to weaponize her abilities. He discovered that her blood suppresses the body's ability to manifest "Quirk Factor," creating a substance that inhibits Quirks. He manufactured bullets containing her blood by repeatedly destroying her with his Quirk, collecting her blood, and then repairing her. This cycle of abuse occurred thousands of times despite her pain. After numerous failed escape attempts, Eri eventually accepted her fate as a prisoner.
