Summary
Rinnosuke Morichika manages Kourindou, an antique shop situated near the Forest of Magic. He selected this location with the intention of attracting both human and non-human clientele, but his strategy has been a complete failure, leaving the store perpetually empty aside from a few daily "annoyances." The true nature of Rinnosuke is a mystery. While he appears human, official accounts suggest he has lived significantly longer than Reimu, with his appearance remaining unchanged since at least Marisa’s childhood. He is also believed to possess knowledge of the previous Hakurei descendant and the founding purpose of Hakurei Shrine. Driven by a strong fascination with the outside world, Rinnosuke stocks his shop with foreign items that have accidentally breached the boundary. Although his recognition ability allows him to identify the name and function of these objects, he cannot determine how to use them. His limited understanding of modern science and the outside world frequently leads him to draw bizarre conclusions about these artifacts.
