Summary
Soul Evans, known simply as Soul to his friends, serves as Maka’s Demon Scythe partner. His human form resembles a teenage boy who constantly has a drool mark hanging from his mouth. He behaves like an average adolescent, with a personality largely defined by his desire to appear cool. This obsession with being a cool guy leads him to prefer direct approaches, which frequently fail. Although he can become overly focused on the act of eating souls, causing friction with Maka, their partnership and friendship endure. Soul absorbs souls by literally consuming them, claiming that texture is more important than taste. When Dr. Stein observed his soul, he described it as belonging to a twisted individual with a sarcastic soul.
