Robbie
Summary
Robbie served as Martin’s friend and the owner of Stern’s Diner in Frankfurt, a spot Martin visited regularly. Although their dynamic was marked by teasing and a certain reluctance, Robbie developed a genuine care for his primary customer, enduring Martin’s complaints about Robbie’s poor memory regarding his usual orders. Robbie was aware of Martin’s criminal background but maintained that knowledge in strict confidence. He eventually noticed a man, whom he mistakenly identified as Vietnamese or Chinese, frequenting the diner in search of Martin. Robbie informed Martin that this visitor was seeking the whereabouts of Eva Heinemann, the woman Martin was protecting and his former fiancée. Later, Robbie drove Martin, who had been shot while shielding Eva from the organization he worked for, to seek medical attention from Dr. Kenzo Tenma. Robbie listened to Martin’s story before the latter passed away under Dr. Tenma’s care.
