Furuhata, Takeshi
Summary
Takeshi Furuhata is a debtor and former coworker of Kaiji. A year prior to the first tournament on Espoir, he tricked Kaiji into cosigning a loan, thereby making Kaiji liable if Furuhata failed to repay the debt. Although he was thought to have vanished, Kaiji eventually finds him on Espoir and forms an alliance after Funai's betrayal.
