Summary
Haraguchi is considered a phantom member of the Genshiken, as he seldom makes an appearance in the club room, and his visits almost invariably bring trouble. He also holds membership in the Manga Society and the Anime Society, yet he has failed to pay dues for any of these organizations. Known as Haraguro by those unfortunate enough to cross paths with him, he is universally despised by members across all three clubs. While he is grudgingly tolerated by his semi-professional manga artist connections, he is widely disliked. Despite the resentment he generates, few individuals are brave enough to voice their complaints openly, largely due to Haraguchi’s ability to intimidate others into submission.
