Youichi Takatoo serves as the primary antagonist to Kindaichi, functioning as a Moriarty to Kindaichi’s Holmes. He made his debut in the episode titled "The Magical Express." Recognized for his exceptional intellect, he views himself as the evil counterpart to Kindaichi, characterizing their dynamic as that of parallel lines that never intersect.
