Uchikoma
Summary
Uchikomas are the think-tanks featured in the final episode of 2nd GIG, named similarly to the Fuchikoma units from the original Ghost In The Shell manga. Their design blends elements of both the Tachikoma and the Fuchikoma, featuring faces and abdomens that resemble the Fuchikoma while possessing legs and a thorax structure more akin to the Tachikoma. In the early stages of the film Solid State Society, Section 9 utilizes Uchikomas in a manner comparable to how un-evolved Tachikomas were previously employed. They are so underdeveloped that Batou finds it irritating when they fail to react like the older Tachikoma models during missions.
