Summary
Nanjou Kisara, also known as Valkyrie, is an eighteen-year-old Taekwondo specialist with a slender, 159cm frame and short, unkempt red hair. Originally the Eighth Fist of Ragnarok, she practices Nyakwondo, a style combining Taekwondo with feline movements, before joining the Shinpaku Alliance as a captain. Her appearance features a green cap, a short t-shirt over an A-shirt, and heavily torn jeans that expose her thighs and well-defined legs. Kisara possesses a tomboyish, violent, and merciless personality, initially enjoying the humiliation of her foes. Although often rude and foul-mouthed, she eventually matures through her friendship with Kenichi while retaining her aggressive nature. She holds deep respect for her former leader Freya, a bond that evolves into a sibling-like dynamic. Her most defining trait is a fierce hatred of being treated as weak due to her gender, a prejudice instilled by an opponent who claimed he let her win because she was female. This incident caused her to cut her long hair short and creates conflict with Kenichi, who refuses to fight women, though she later gains respect for his restraint during their battle. She is deeply insecure about her small bust, referring to Miu as "Dairy Cow" and despising women who rely on weapons or have larger figures, despite her own reliance on boots to enhance her kicks. Beneath her tough exterior, Kisara has a soft spot for cats, particularly kittens, a sentiment stemming from the death of her childhood pet, Noir, who died protecting her from a stray dog. This tragedy motivated her to join a dojo and vow strength. She hides this affection, only revealing it to close friends, and protects a stray cat she adopted even while enduring attacks from Freya’s Valkyries. Additionally, she reciprocates Ukita’s feelings, attacking him if he shows interest in other girls, and dislikes wearing skirts as they hinder her fighting style.
