Summary
As the owner and head chef of Makabe's Western Bistro, he is widely recognized simply as Chef Makabe. He maintains a nonchalant and apathetic demeanor, showing little interest in managing the finer details of his establishment. Although he appears unmotivated, he has zero tolerance for disobedience. He eventually hires the reluctant Nagumo after Tatewaku informs him that she volunteered to work at the restaurant.
