Summary
Kagura Tsuchimiya serves as the story’s heroine, defined by her perpetually cheerful demeanor and feisty, ambitious personality. She wields Byakuei, a dragon-shaped weapon that she commands via a seal on her back and a binding chain linking the two. This connection means she shares any pain Byakuei endures. Her strength and motivation are bolstered by Kensuke’s support, and she harbors clear romantic feelings for him, referring to him as Ken-chan. She becomes visibly jealous when Shizuru is seen alone with Kensuke and is surprised when Kyouko advises her to pursue a relationship with him if she is concerned. While she initially views Shizuru as a rival, the two eventually grow close. Kagura temporarily lost her memories after becoming the host for the Kyuubi, a state from which Kensuke freed her. She later regains her memories and inadvertently triggers the return of Yomi.
