Summary

Sasada serves as the class president for Takashi’s group and is convinced that he possesses the ability to see spirits. She frequently interrogates him about these visions, despite his consistent denials. Annoying to Takashi, she insists on accompanying him during his spirit-related investigations. The anime suggests she may harbor romantic feelings for him, evidenced by her blushing in episode 5 when he questioned her desire to join him at an abandoned train station, a trip he undertook to investigate Reiko’s ticket. Takashi eventually escapes her persistence when Tanuma distracts Sasada, allowing him to board a bus. In the manga, the narrative diverges slightly; Sasada relocates following her encounter with Shigure, resulting in her having a more prominent role in the anime adaptation.
