Kobayashi, Megumi
Summary
Megumi Kobayashi was Tatsuhiro’s high school classmate and served as the class representative during their student days. Although they appear frequently together in manga, neither character is aware of the other’s existence for a significant portion of the story. Following the death of her father, Megumi was forced to work to support herself and her younger brother, who is a hikikomori. In her efforts to make ends meet, she ultimately became entangled in a fraudulent pyramid scheme. During her school years, she possessed a rigid and uptight demeanor, a trait that Tatsuhiro once pointed out to her directly. This strict personality persists after graduation, although she has additionally developed manipulative tendencies as a means of survival.
