Oki, Kazuya
Summary
Kazuya Oki volunteers for cybernetic surgery within the United States’ International Space Development Program, aiming to become an astronaut capable of surviving in outer space without a bulky external suit. Following a successful procedure, he receives the codename Super-1. However, before his departure, the facility is attacked by the Dogma Kingdom, and Kazuya is the sole survivor. Seeking vengeance for the murdered scientists, he returns to Japan and undergoes training under martial arts master Genkai. This preparation enables him to transform into the powerful Kamen Rider Super-1. Midway through the series, Super-1 defeats the Dogma Kingdom, only to face a new antagonist faction known as Jin Dogma. The tone shifts to a lighter atmosphere with the introduction of Junior Riders, who provide comic relief, and the bizarre Jin Dogma kaijin. These monsters are based on household items like ladders, basketballs, and refrigerators, resembling obake from Japanese folklore. Ultimately, Kazuya defeats Jin Dogma, restoring peace to Japan. He then achieves his childhood dream of traveling to space, aided by a new team of scientists. Upon returning to Earth, Kazuya later allies himself with previous Kamen Riders.
