Summary
Eve is an artificial human created to serve as the inaugural prototype in a lineage of super soldiers. By having her DNA fused with nanomachines, she possesses the capacity to alter her physical form and genetic structure. Raised to suppress all emotions, she finds ordinary human experiences to be novel and unfamiliar. Her introduction varies between adaptations. In the anime, Sven and Train first cross paths when Sven attempts to rescue her, while Chronos has dispatched Train to eliminate her and eradicate the research data behind her creation; Train’s decision to spare her life contributes to his departure from the organization. During this encounter, her creator drives her into a berserk state, ordering her to attack Train. Conversely, in the manga, Eve meets Train and Sven while they are working as sweepers tasked with capturing Torneo Rudman, with no prior involvement from Chronos. Sven and Train rescue her, and Train intervenes to prevent Torneo from triggering her berserk mode. Following these events, she aligns herself with Sven and Train. Initially, Eve is suspicious of Train, noting that he smells of blood. In the anime, she gifts him the bell he wears around his neck, having read that such accessories help locate misbehaving cats, whereas the manga depicts him already possessing the bell chain. Over time, she and Train evolve into rivals competing for Sven’s partnership, with Train bestowing upon her the nickname "Little Princess." Eve’s hobby is reading books of varying complexity. She can memorize any text after a single reading, often confusing others by deploying sophisticated vocabulary she has acquired. Furthermore, her transformation abilities grow more refined as her knowledge expands.
