Summary
Chizuru Honsho serves as one of Ichigo’s classmates and acquaintances, though she is notably distinct for her sexual orientation and eccentric behavior. She frequently attempts to make advances toward Orihime, often resulting in her being struck down by Tatsuki. Chizuru is characterized by her unsettling nature, which includes asking inappropriate questions such as inquiring about a young girl’s cup size. During the Fake Karakura Town arc, Chizuru and Michiru are discovered sleeping by Tatsuki, Mizuiro, and Keigo. She awakens as Aizen’s presence approaches, demonstrating a rudimentary level of spirit awareness, although it is not yet sufficient for her to perceive ghosts. As the crisis unfolds and the group flees from Aizen, Chizuru becomes mentally destabilized by the rapid succession of bizarre events and her friends’ calm reactions to them. She remains the only classmate of Ichigo’s who does not consider him a close friend and fails to recognize him as a Soul Reaper.
