Rokutanda, Tsutomu
Summary
Tsutomu Rokutanda is Arimi’s classmate and Ginta’s cousin, harboring a crush on Arimi since their elementary school days. Described as loud, obnoxious, and prone to crying, he is obsessed with the past and becomes intensely jealous whenever Arimi dates someone else. He frequently issues challenges to Ginta, Yuu, or both, but invariably loses and must shave his head as a result. His jealousy often causes him to lose his temper if he suspects Ginta is romantically involved with Arimi, leading him to follow the couple around and disrupt their lives. During the New Year's episode, Tsutomu meets his dream girl, Yayoi-chan, but fails to collect her name, address, or school information. Devastated by the loss, he is seen feeling rejected in a park during the Valentine's episode. There, he overhears a man turning Yayoi down; she recognizes Tsutomu, and they end up sharing the chocolate she intended to give the other man. They are later seen on a double date with Ginta and Arimi in episode 58, suggesting he is developing into a more positive character. After Ginta and Arimi break up in a subsequent episode, Tsutomu teams up with Miki to reunite them, indicating that he is finally maturing.
