Brockenman
Summary
Brockenman is a Zangyaku Chojin hailing from West Berlin, West Germany, on Earth. Possessing a Choujin Kyoudo Power of 900,000, he is a brutal Nazi choujin driven by ambitions of world domination. His signature move is the Poison Gas Attack. He made his debut in Manga Chapter 29 and Anime Episode 7A. He meets a gruesome end when he is ripped in half by Ramenman. This violent demise set a precedent for the severity of future battles, though the anime censored the event, altering it to Ramenman merely breaking his back, turning him into ramen noodles, and eating him. His name is derived from The Brocken and Count Brocken. He is the father of Brocken Jr., who seeks revenge on Ramenman for his death. Despite his ruthless goals, Brockenman genuinely cared for Brocken Jr., personally training him with extreme strictness. He preferred the title Lehrer over Father, believing that strong warriors must forget familial bonds outside the home. To teach the Red Rain of Berlin finisher, he forced his son to cuff his hands to iron balls and strike a red-hot pot repeatedly. In the Brocken Jr. & Ramenman one-shot, Brocken Jr.'s memories of his father allowed him to escape Ramenman's Camel Clutch. Ramenman, recognizing him as a worthy opponent, even celebrated the anniversary of Brockenman's funeral during the Choujin Olympics, and Brocken Jr. was able to speak with his father's spirit.
