Summary
Kuriyama Mirai is a first-year high school student with light brown or pink hair and brown or gold eyes. She possesses the unique ability to manipulate blood, a power that is rare even within the spirit world. This distinctive talent has led to her social isolation, a situation that drove her to attempt suicide by jumping from her school’s roof until she was rescued by Akihito. Clumsy and somewhat aloof, Mirai tends to blend in at school and struggles with everyday life. She must work to support herself, yet she avoids the lucrative profession of slaying youmu, which many spirit world warriors pursue, due to her intense fear of encountering them. Her situation is further complicated by her hobby of writing blog posts about bonsai, which frequently draws ridicule from the internet.
