Feng, Xin

Summary

Known as General Nan Yang and the Martial God who oversees the Southeast, Feng Xin has been active for over eight hundred years, with nearly eight thousand temples dedicated to him. He originally served as the Imperial Bodyguard of Xie Lian before his current divine role. Feng Xin presents himself as polite, courteous, and honest, possessing a strong sense of responsibility and avoiding gossip or speaking ill of others behind their backs. However, he is straightforward, impatient, and prone to a quick temper, often cursing loudly and excessively even in the presence of fellow Heavenly Officials. Despite this volatile demeanor, he is hardworking and deeply moral, famously refusing to steal despite severe hunger and lack of medicine when Xie Lian was banished. His most defining trait is his unwavering loyalty and devotion, particularly regarding his history with Xie Lian, whom he supported consistently and refused to abandon even during desperate circumstances. He cares deeply for those close to him and is willing to protect even those he has disputes with. Interestingly, Feng Xin exhibits a strange fear of women, becoming nervous and disoriented in their presence.
