Summary
Taranda Lieselotte Tachibana, who goes by the nickname Lise, serves as the animal handler for the Nakamachi Circus. Hailing from a lineage of animal tamers, her manga storyline reveals that she successfully trained the lion Drum to hunt down the man-eating tiger Beast, the creature responsible for her sister's death during a show. In the anime adaptation, she is introduced as an existing member of the circus without initially disclosing her background or taming abilities, whereas the manga presents her debut during the confrontation with Beast after he escapes captivity. Additionally, Lise harbors romantic feelings for Masaru Saiga.
