Summary
Known as the Second Spirit, Nia is the ninth Spirit encountered by Shido. She appeared on Earth shortly after the First Spirit and is believed to be the only one possessing information regarding the First Spirit's location. The D.E.M. Organization captured her through unknown means, causing her to fall into a coma. Although Kurumi initially mentioned her in Volume 7, claiming to need Shido’s help to rescue Tohka as a pretext to locate Nia, it was later revealed that Nia was not held in that specific facility. Physically, Nia has short ash gray hair and icy blue eyes. When manifesting her Astral Dress, she resembles a nun, wearing an ink-colored, semi-transparent fabric that clings to her figure. The design incorporates elements reflecting her profession as an otaku manga artist: the collar mimics a pen tip, and the bodice features a manga panel pattern. She also wears long black laced boots, a black veil attached to a pen and feather duster, and a golden cross connected to a beaded rope around her waist. In her civilian form, she wears dark red square-framed glasses and typically prefers unfeminine clothing, reserving dresses for special occasions. Nia holds an A-Class Spirit Rank. While her abilities are superior in information storage and gathering, she lacks the raw combat power of other Spirits. Her pacifistic nature further limits her potential, preventing her from utilizing the violent applications of her Angel. However, when operating at full capacity, her Angel’s near-omniscience and reality manipulation are regarded as God-like.
