Kourin
Summary
Kourin serves as the Kirin of the Kingdom of Kou. She strives to prevent the King of Kou from launching an attack against Youko and to stop him from succumbing to self-doubt, which arises from his constant comparisons to the rulers of En and Sou. Although she is bound by duty to obey his commands regardless of her personal reservations, she is forced to act against her will when the King orders her to capture Keiki, who is attempting to bring Youko to the Twelve Kingdoms. Under this directive, Kourin reluctantly sends her shirei and the demons under their command to pursue and attack Youko.
