Born on June 5, Luppi is a Gemini who stands 161 cm tall and weighs 45 kg. He temporarily assumes the role of the 6th Espada to replace Grimmjow Jeagerjaques after the latter is demoted due to the loss of his arm. Luppi is a youthful Hollow characterized by short black hair and a somewhat feminine facial structure. The remnants of his hollow mask, consisting of a row of teeth, sit on the left side of his head, resembling a hair comb or barette. His attire features long sleeves that extend past his hands, concealing them entirely. While the location of his hollow hole remains hidden, his Espada tattoo is prominently displayed on his right hip. His zanpakutou is named Trepadora, a short blade similar in shape to a kodachi or tantou that he carries tucked close to his armpit. The sword is released by commanding it to "strangle." Upon release, eight tendrils emerge from a carapace attached to Luppi's back, and his mask transforms into a makeshift helmet. He can independently control these tentacles to strike opponents, making him particularly adept at fighting groups. These appendages are capable of growing spikes for extra damage, and the carapace can rotate to spin the tentacles like helicopter blades.
