Summary
Ichirou Inuyashiki serves as the story’s protagonist. Despite being fifty-eight years old, his appearance is so aged that he is often dismissed as a pitiful elder. His family treats him with disdain and mistreatment, leaving him with no human companions other than his cherished dog, Hanako. Following a terminal cancer diagnosis, a meteor strike transforms him into a cyborg. Rather than succumbing to power, he chooses to use his new abilities to save others, striving to preserve his humanity.
