Young Vietnamese Doctor

Summary

Following her family’s emigration from Vietnam to East Germany in the 1980s, she operated an unlicensed underground clinic in Munich. She provided care primarily to underprivileged individuals and refugees who could not afford traditional healthcare, stepping in to fill the void left by her more experienced father. Dr. Kenzo Tenma visited her clinic while hunting for Johan Liebert, seeking information regarding the murder of Blue Sophie. He found her overwhelmed by a backlog of critically injured patients. Tenma urged her to transfer them to a proper hospital due to the severity of their wounds, but she firmly rejected the idea, citing the social barriers her clients faced. Although she initially resisted his assistance, she eventually allowed Tenma to help perform several medical procedures. Over time, she shared her personal struggles with him and expressed concern for his fate when he revealed his intention to kill a man. Later, she watched his arrest on television, describing him as an inspiration and hoping for the best outcome given the circumstances.
