Summary
Raki is a human swordsman from the village of Doga in Lautrec, belonging to the same generation as Clare and Clarice. His life is upended when a Yoma slaughters most of his family, camouflaging itself as his deceased older brother, Zaki. After Clare eliminates the monster and saves him, the superstitious villagers expel Raki, fearing he has been tainted by his proximity to the creature. He subsequently follows Clare, earning the right to serve as her cook and ally. Their journey begins alongside other allies like Priscilla and the late Sword Master Isley, but their true trials are just starting.
