Summary
Sunshine served as one of the Devil Knights, a faction of Akuma Choujin accused of stealing the Golden Mask, a sacred relic on planet Kinniku that was formerly the head of a god. During the Five Story Ring battle inside Warsman's unconscious body, he clashed with Geronimo. Although he nearly killed his opponent, Sunshine was ultimately defeated by Geronimo’s Apache War Cry technique after it was revealed that his weakness was loud noises. Before the fight with Kinnikuman, he, like the other Devil Knights, was absorbed by Akuma Shogun. Later, Sunshine and Ashuraman escaped and plotted to steal the Friendship Power of the Seigi Choujins using Cursed Dolls. They executed this plan during the Dream Tag Tournament, competing as the Stray Devil Choujin Combo. After being defeated by Kinnikuman and Kinnikuman Great in the semi-finals, they turned good, but Sunshine was subsequently killed by Neptuneman. He later appeared during the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne as one of the Choujins captured and killed by The Omegaman, allowing him to be transformed into. In Kinnikuman: Nisei, Sunshine is a founding member of the dMp and leads their Akuma Choujin division. He challenges the new generation of Seigi Choujins with his students, Rex King and Check Mate. Ultimately, after his respect for the Seigi Choujin is rekindled through their matches with his pupils, he destroys the dMp headquarters. He appears once more during the Demon Seed Arc as a supporter of Ashuraman.
