Summary
Momo Ayase is a spirited girl who possesses psychic abilities and firmly believes in the existence of ghosts. Her powers were triggered after a traumatic abduction by aliens intent on repopulating their species through her. She engages in a wager with Takakura, a fellow student who is obsessed with UFOs, to determine whether ghosts or extraterrestrials are real. Ayase resides at a shrine with her grandmother, who is also a psychic; initially doubting her elder’s abilities, Ayase eventually offered an apology once she confirmed that her powers were genuine. She refers to Takakura by the nickname Okarun because she struggles to accept that he shares the exact same name as her favorite actor, Takakura Ken.
