Synopsis

Continues the story of Dan Da Dan

Following a recent breakup, popular high schooler Momo Ayase demonstrates kindness by shielding her timid classmate Ken Takakura from bullies. Takakura mistakenly interprets this act as the beginning of a friendship based on a shared obsession with aliens and UFOs, whereas Momo is a staunch believer in the occult who firmly rejects the existence of extraterrestrials. This fundamental misunderstanding ignites a rivalry, with both determined to prove the other wrong. Despite their opposing worldviews, Momo and Takakura develop an unexpectedly profound bond through supernatural battles and bizarre encounters with urban legends and paranormal entities. As they each acquire extraordinary abilities, they begin to cover for one another's weaknesses, forcing them to question if their connection transcends a mere partnership of convenience.

During the exorcism at Jin "Jiji" Enjouji's home, the situation spirals into danger. Momo Ayase narrowly avoids abduction, while Ken "Okarun" Takakura and Jiji face an assault from the sinister Kitou family, the owners of the haunted property. Their meddling threatens the delicate balance of a legendary, mysterious town. As Momo, Okarun, and Jiji delve into a labyrinth of folklore and supernatural entities, they must leverage their unique powers to survive the dangers and reveal the secrets hidden within this strange settlement.
