As the granddaughter of the director of Onmyo Prep School and the heir to the Kurahashi family, Kyouko ranks among the institution's top students. She is one of only three known students to possess a Gohou-Type shikigami, which comprises two Yaksha demon class warriors named Hakuou and Kokfuu.
