Summary
Wonderweiss Margela serves as an Arrancar within Sōsuke Aizen’s forces. Although he does not hold the rank of Espada, Soul Society classifies his spiritual pressure as equivalent to theirs. Physically, he is small and thin, possessing a somewhat childlike appearance. The remnants of his hollow mask are situated on top of his head, taking the form of a tiara or small crown. His personality mirrors his appearance, exhibiting traits that are not only juvenile but also autistic. During a mission to kill, he instead chose to play with a dragonfly. While he displayed a brief moment of hostility by firing a retaliatory bala blast, he quickly returned to his normal demeanor. He struggles to speak clearly, uttering only a few syllables at a time like a young child. Kaname Tōsen describes Wonderweiss as a pure being, similar to himself, though Tōsen questions whether this purity is inherently good or evil. This shared nature causes them to gravitate toward one another, leading Wonderweiss to follow Tōsen whenever possible. Consequently, he attempted to restrain Gin Ichimaru from approaching Tōsen, as he was wary of the latter. His zanpakutō is a large purple sword strapped to his back, roughly as tall as he is. The hilt resembles a western long sword rather than a traditional katana, yet it retains the familiar hilt weaving. The guard is shaped like an Egyptian eye. The name and released state of his zanpakutō remain unrevealed.
