Summary
Hitori Gotoh, also known by her nickname Bocchi, struggles with intense social anxiety that severely hinders her ability to form connections. Following the loss of her only friend, Kai, she faces the daunting task of befriending her entire new class in a desperate attempt to reunite with Kai and reclaim their friendship. Characterized by her extreme shyness, timidity, and perceived incompetence, her name literally translates to "alone," accurately reflecting her isolated state at the start of the series.
