Summary
Sasaki Isaburou serves as the commander of the Mimawarigumi, a role inspired by the historical leader Sasaki Tadasaburo. Born as the primary heir to the elite samurai Sasaki family, he is also the half-brother to Sasaki Tetsunosuke. Despite his serious demeanor, Isaburou displays a starkly different personality when communicating via cell phone emails. He frequently insists that others address him as Sabu-chan and claims to have few friends, likely because he struggles to articulate his emotions verbally. Consequently, he relies heavily on texting to express himself. He also possesses a strong desire to emphasize the elite status of the Mimawarigumi. Isaburou places significant trust in Nobume, viewing her as both a capable assassin and his most loyal subordinate. He is well aware of her fondness for donuts and often uses them as rewards for her exemplary service.
