Summary
Battera is a multi-billionaire willing to spend whatever it takes to purchase as many copies of Greed Island as necessary. He requires participants to sign a contract that stipulates he decides which cards they take with them, grants him immunity from complaints regarding injury or death, and promises a payout of 50 billion jenny upon completion. It is later revealed that his extravagant spending is driven by his desire to obtain the Archangel's Breath card to cure his comatose lover. However, she dies before anyone finishes the game, allowing Battera to buy his way out of the contract.
