Summary
Aoki serves as the fourth butler and financial manager for the Yotsuba family. He is portrayed as a shrewd and capable gentleman in the prime of his years, appearing more like a lawyer than traditional staff. Although he is extremely respectful when speaking to Miyuki, he regards her elder brother Tatsuya merely as a servant of the Yotsuba clan. Consequently, he frequently ignores Tatsuya or addresses him rudely, a behavior that often provokes Miyuki’s anger.
