Born on April 21, 497, in the Eastern Archipelago, Izutsumi is a 17-year-old adventurer standing 150cm tall. A former member of Shuro's retainers, who are all named after plants, she now travels as part of Laios' party. Her demeanor is standoffish yet not entirely distant, and she is currently learning to value teamwork despite her naturally self-centered tendencies. She can find rapport with her peers and fit in with the group, though she is prone to annoyance and hostility, particularly when receiving physical affection like head pats. Her primary motivation is finding a cure for the curse affecting her body. This goal drives her impatience, often causing frustration when she perceives Laios' group as progressing too slowly through the dungeon. Izutsumi has poor table manners and is a picky eater, frequently trying to pass unwanted duties onto others. While she generally dislikes vegetables and mushrooms, she once found mushrooms delicious when served in the sauce for hamburg steak. However, her hatred for them resurfaced when she avoided them in Crispy Mushroom and Egg Sandwiches. Her favorite foods include fish, meat, and crab.
