Summary
Ernst Zimmerman serves as the interim president of the Federal Republic of Giad. A former imperial general who became disillusioned with the policies of the Giadian Empire, he led the revolutionary forces to victory against the Empire and subsequently became the first president of the Federacy. Additionally, he is the adoptive father of Frederica Rosenfort and the five survivors of the Spearhead Squadron.
