Son, Goten

Summary

Goten is a fictional character appearing in the manga and anime series Dragon Ball Z, as well as in Dragon Ball GT. He is the second son of Son Goku and Chi Chi and is a Human-Saiyan hybrid, similar to his older brother Son Gohan. Goten’s natural physique closely mirrors that of his father Goku, although his hairstyle and clothing evolve over time. He typically wears an outfit that mimics his father’s, with minor variations. In the final episodes of Dragon Ball Z, his hair grows long, losing its resemblance to Goku’s style, and he wears a blue and white shirt bearing his name. During his appearances in Dragon Ball GT, he sports a white shirt with purple jeans and much shorter hair. Throughout his time in Dragon Ball Z and GT, his skin remains lightly tanned. Unlike his brother, Goten never possesses a tail, a fact that is never explained. Born in Age 767, he stands 123 cm tall and weighs 26 kg. His hobbies include playing war and catching bugs, while his favorite foods are Pocky and Strawberry Daifuku, and his preferred vehicle is a bicycle. In Dragon Ball Online, which is set 216 years after Dragon Ball Z and where Toriyama exercised significant creative control unlike in Dragon Ball GT, it is established that in Age 800, Goten and Present Day Trunks founded the Kikoukenjutsu Sword School.
