Summary
Hikaru attends the same elementary school and grade as the series heroine, Himeko. She frequently challenges Himeko for various reasons, though her primary motivation is usually her infatuation with Daichi. Hikaru firmly believes that a romantic relationship exists between Himeko and Daichi, ignoring their denials and the actual truth of the situation. This misconception is the main source of conflict, which is typically instigated by Hikaru in one-sided confrontations. Whenever Hikaru comes close to uncovering Himeko's secret, she is ultimately prevented from doing so.
