Ranke, Karel
Summary
Karel Ranke served as a former Captain within the Czechoslovakian Secret Police. He participated in the reading seminars led by Franz Bonaparta and Peter Čapek, subsequently acting as the sole caretaker of the Red Rose Mansion. This arrangement continued until Inspector Heinrich Lunge requested permission to inspect the property during his stay in Prague. Ranke is also the uncle of Adolf Reinhardt, a young boy with a fondness for cocoa and an old friend of Wolfgang Grimmer. Reinhardt was one of the orphans housed at 511 Kinderheim in Germany, and his true identity was likely uncovered at a later stage.
