Summary
Hideo Arai was once a standout pitcher, but his professional career stalled due to repeated failures. In a bid to manipulate outcomes, he colluded with an opposing team to underperform during batting sessions against him, a scheme orchestrated by Saikawa. Consequently, Arai became subservient to Saikawa, acting as his "dog" and executing orders to sabotage the Toua team. However, after being moved by Toua’s belief that any non-zero probability is worth pursuing, Arai departed the team. He left to undergo retraining with the goal of restarting his baseball journey in America.
