Summary
Rima Mashiro, born on February 6, is a transfer student the same age as Amu who assumes the role of the new Q-Chair. Described as a short, cute, and beautiful girl, she possesses a selfish personality that makes her popular with male students but disliked by females like Amu. She is known for feigning tears to manipulate others and struggles with sports. During a mission to collect X Eggs, she undergoes a Character Transformation into a gag character named Clown Drop, a form she despises and which initially draws ridicule. In this state, she often shouts the catchphrase "Bala-Balance," a reference to the Magazine Gag Manga Daiō. Her Guardian Character, Kusu Kusu, is a clown reflecting her love for stand-up comedy; she attempts to cheer up her arguing parents by performing for them, though without success. Following episode 32, she begins spending time with Amu during physical education, eventually opening up and becoming friends with her. Although she initially dislikes Nadeshiko, the former Queen, due to rumors about Nadeshiko being Amu's best friend, the two eventually team up to fight X Eggs after Rima discovers in Chapter 34 that Nagihiko is actually Nadeshiko in disguise. After everyone graduates, Rima joins the other Guardians in throwing a party and taking a commemorative photograph to preserve their best memories.
