Takahama, Shouyou
Summary
Takahama served as one of Ashirogi Muto’s assistants, alongside Ogawa and Kato, during their work on Detective Trap, where he handled figures, sketches, and inks. Miura regarded him as the most talented artist among the new assistants under his supervision. Initially appearing unsocial and reticent, Takahama’s demeanor shifted after he came to respect Mashiro’s dedication as a mangaka. He subsequently revealed his ambition to work at Disney, engaging in numerous overnight discussions about manga with Mashiro and Takagi. His enthusiasm for the medium often led to frustration with Miura when he felt constrained from creating the stories he desired. Takahama deeply respects ambition and strong work ethics, noting that he has little in common with Ogawa and Kato because they appear content with simply being assistants rather than pursuing greater goals.
