Summary
Akifumi possessed the rare ability to perceive youkai during his childhood. It was during this time that he encountered Hotaru and quickly fell deeply in love with her. The pair spent their days enjoying themselves and playing together by the lake. Although he eventually lost his sight for youkai, his devotion remained unwavering, leading him to continue visiting the lake in hopes of finding Hotaru once more.
