Summary
Born on November 3, Chikage is deeply engrossed in scientific research and harbors a specific fascination with Ikuto, whom she intends to capture to study him as a real male and to gain insight into the world beyond the island. She has a habit of gathering items that wash up from modern society and views Ikuto as a valuable addition to her collection due to the potential information he provides. Chikage resides in the sole English-style house on Airan, sharing her home with her elephant maid, Panako. She frequently reads mature magazines, which leads her to develop misguided ideas that she uses against Ikuto. While Ikuto perceives her as a calm and well-behaved girl, Yukino observes that Chikage often conducts strange experiments and questionable research. This reputation is confirmed in episode 17 of the manga, where Chikage temporarily accesses magic and wreaks havoc across the island before an angry Panako removes her powers. Additionally, at the start of volume 12, she reveals that she, Yukino, Kunai, Shinobu, and Mikoto are cousins.
