Summary
Kudryavka Anatolyevna Strugatskaya, often called Kud, is a girl of quarter Japanese and three-quarters Russian descent. Influenced by her grandfather’s obsession with Japanese culture, she is well-versed in Japan and its language, though her English skills are poor. She is a classmate of Riki and belongs to the home economics club. She owns two dogs named Strelka and Belka. Kudryavka wears a handmade hat and cloak, which she keeps on because she finds Japan too cold after spending most of her childhood in a small, southern nation near the equator. Her favorite phrase is "wafuu!"
