Matsuda, Jinpei
Summary
Jinpei Matsuda served as an officer in the Tokyo Police bomb squadron. He possessed notable talents in boxing, a skill honed under the tutelage of his father, a professional boxer. His mechanical expertise was equally impressive, allowing him to repair vehicles, disassemble and reassemble firearms, and defuse explosives within a three-minute window. Matsuda appears in flashbacks from Sato, where he is shown resolving a bombing case and transmitting the location of a second device to Sato. His narrative concludes with his death in an explosion on a Ferris Wheel shortly after sending that critical information.
