Magami, Tokiko
Summary
Tokiko Magami serves as a nurse at the school attended by Fūma and Kotori, while also being Kamui's aunt. She strives to inform Kamui about the weight of his lineage and his destined role in the apocalypse, though her efforts are thwarted by a conflict at Togakushi Shrine in the manga. In the anime TV series, Kamui remains doubtful of her assertion that she is his mother's younger sister, even though she bears a striking resemblance to Tōhru. Following an assault by shikigami disguised as men in black, Tokiko reaches the injured Togakushi Shrine just in time to deliver the second Sacred Sword in front of Kamui and Fūma. She had previously maintained communication with Imonoyama Nokoru and the former Chairman of Clamp Academy. Her last communication to Kamui is a video message handed to the director of Clamp Academy, in which she outlines the critical decision he faces and urges him to reflect on whom he wants to protect and what he truly wishes for the future of the Earth. Within the X Tarot set, she and her sister correspond to The Tower card.
